World Employer Branding Day 27-28 April 2017 | Budapest

World Employer Branding Day 2017 was officially launched today by Brett Minchington, chairman/CEO Employer Brand International, the company responsible for the event to be held in Budapest, Hungary from 27-28 April 2017.

The event is being co-organized by Brandfizz, the leading employer brand agency in Hungary and supported by more than 30 employer branding country partners. World Employer Branding Day 2017 will be the global industry’s largest best practice sharing and networking event in 2017 focused on two days of new ideas, learning, collaboration and inspiration.

Minchington said. “World Employer Branding Day 2017 will bring together more than 300 Employer branding specialists, agencies and industry leaders from more than 35 countries to explore and develop solutions to today's employer branding challenges by unleashing the possibilities at the intersection of People, Technology and Communities.”

The first World Employer Branding Day held in Prague in April 2016 attracted 250 leaders from 36 countries. “The first truly global experiential event of the employer branding industry showed what’s possible when you bring corporate leaders and agency specialists together in an environment that stimulates discussion, debate and new solutions. The future of work is about collaboration, innovation and matching the talent to the skills demanded by companies to assist their growth. Global and regional vendors play a critical role in solving this matching crisis that many companies are facing,” Minchington said.

New to the format in 2017 will be a Vendor Expert Zone where leading vendors will co-present a case study with their client to showcase the journey and successful outcomes achieved by strong collaborations between companies and industry in employer branding. Whilst many conferences exclude vendors, World Employer Branding Day focuses on connecting agency specialists with corporate leaders as success cannot be achieved without each another. The industry needs collaboration, not exclusivity or separation, “Minchington added.

The experiential theme of the conference includes two main networking events which will connect leaders from around the world in a relaxed, friendly setting. Following the World Employer Branding Day Summit on 27 April, a Cocktail Reception Party will be held aboard the stylish two-storey Spoon Restaurant boat, anchored by the Danube River with the most spectacular views of Budapest's evening skyline as delegates unwind (or windup more!) from Day 1.

The Day 2 experience will commence with a cruise down the world famous Danube River in a two-storey boat and networking with colleagues from around the world whilst taking in some of Europe's most breathtaking sites. World Employer Branding Day 2017 will conclude with a networking lunch between country partners and delegates.

The “Employer Brand Leaders of the Year” and “Employer Branding Videos of the Year” will also be announced at the event in a move to showcase and recognise employer brand excellence from around the world.

Delegates are expected to come from functions such as HR, Talent, Recruitment, Marketing, Branding, IT, Communications, PR and Employer Branding. The diversity of speakers and the accelerating importance of employer branding around the world means the event will appeal to leaders involved in talent attraction, engagement and retention who are serious about innovation and growth,” Minchington said.

Country partners supporting the event come from as far away as New Zealand, Australia and Russia along with partners from UK, Slovakia, Germany, Spain, Lithuania and many more countries.
